Same Day Refund

Hi Linga Team,


On behalf of Coastal Point of Sale, I would like to request for the same day refund feature to be added to the refund section in Operations menu, we are starting to grow in retail stores, and they need to be able to offer same day refunds for their customers. Currently on the POS system in order to perform a refund on a specific check, the check needs to be from a day before and if you try to search for a check from current day the system does not allow to perform the refund.


That is the reason we are requesting for this feature to be added.

Julio, same-day refund can be performed by voiding closed check payment.

Yield Calculation - Sub Recipe - Inventory Item

In regards to the newly published Inventory Yield CR.

Following scenario and problem which I believe has not been fixed.

I am having the same raw material - e.g. Tomato as Inventory Item.

Now that inventory item as raw material is used and linked in and to several sub-recipes; below 3 examples:

  • Sub Recipe No 1 - Tomato Sauce - means i am using the entire Tomato, Yield is 100% of that particular Inventory Item
  • Sub Recipe No 2 - Arabic Salad - i am using the tomato peeled and gutted, means the Yield is 42 % only
  • Sub Recipe No 3 - Tomato Salad - i am using the tomato peeled, means the Yield is 91 %

We need to have a colum next to Quantity in the Sub Recipe in order to enter the Yield % of that particular Inventory Item for correct COG Calculation.

10% Tip as Default

Hey there,

When a customer places an order with us and goes to the payment screen, he needs to click on the tips percentage or custom tips to add an amount. The problem is that some customers just try to click on the "0.00" before clicking on the "custom amount" button, and as it doesn't work, they don't leave tips.

Is there a way I could change the default tips amount from "no tips" to "10%" for example? We did some research on other websites and that's what most of them do.

Defining Delivery Area by Postal Codes

Instead of defining the delivery area by radius, please check if you can add a feature to define the delivery area by postal codes.

Bold Print of Entree on Kitchen thermal printer

When using an Epson TM-M30 thermal printer as a kitchen printer, have the ability to print the Entrée name in BOLD to distinguish between Entree and modifier easier .

Future Order 86 Count Depletion.

Currently, online ordering deducts items on the 86 list. This works great for current day orders. Future orders for following days depletes from the current days 86. Can this be changed to reflect the deduction on the date of the future orders fulfillment?

Create separate toggles for roles and users in permissions access

There is no way to differentiate roles vs users for permissions access, it all falls under user management. If a franchise needs to restrict franchisees from changing role permissions, but wants them to be able to add their own employees there is no way to do this. There is a similar restriction on the menu configuration permissions in the back office. It should look like this but separate roles and users.
