Clock Out Employees During Close Day Procedure

Brittany CH 6 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 2 months ago 10

Clock out employees during close of the day procedure

During a closing procedure, a user will be able to go and select from a close the day checklist

“You have X employees clocked “

The list would pop out with all employees clock in listed first and a check mark box next to each employee.

On the screen as a first one will be an option “clock out all” with a check box UNCHECKED per default.

Check box for clock out all should be bigger than individual ones.

Employees need to be sorted per last name (from a to z)

So a user will have an option to check “select all” and clock them all out or select the employees who he wants to clock out and select clock out

If a user selects “yes” all employees/selected employees will be punch out automatically.

At the back office, the end of the day punched out employees’ record should show in a different color.

Close the Day from back office interface

Sean Tinsman 5 years ago in BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 2 months ago 1

Currently closing the day can only happen on a POS terminal/workstation. We would like to have the ability to close the day from the back office.

    Inventory Low Stocks

Mathew Schultz 4 years ago in BACKOFFICE / INVENTORY updated by Hardy Singh 3 weeks ago 4

Would like to request that when creating a PO from Low Stocks, that the amount entered for order NOT be 1, but rather the amount needed to get the site to PAR level.

Currently, when navigating to Inventory Home, Low Stocks, View Details, Create PO, the system defaults to '1' for the quantity to be ordered.  While it's super helpful to have those items already on the PO, it would be equally super helpful to either put the needed for par amount or a button to increase the 1 to needed for par amount.

    Thanks,

Column Sorting in Reports Asending and Desending

Sean Tinsman 5 years ago in BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 2 months ago 6

sorting example.pdf Currently when running any reports in the back end of linga there is no way to sort columns ascending or descending. We would like to request an option within the report interface that allows the end user to select a column within the selected report and sort ascending or descending. This sorting feature would apply to any column giving the user the option to sort alphabetically and numerically as well is by quantity. Please see attached screenshot for example.

    Color picker hex code input

Taylor Szabo 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 1 month ago 1

    Hi Linga team and partners,

I frequently build databases via spreadsheet import/export and aware of the hex code columns.

My request would be to add in a hex code text box on the color picker on the back office. Ideally I want to be able to paste a hex code and the color picker would recognise it and show it.

With minimal coding effort a great feature can be added.

    Something like this:

    I hope this makes sense.

    86 List Modifiers

Alyssa Schmitt 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Hardy Singh 1 month ago 6

To have the option to 86 modifiers would be a time saver! At the current time, we are only able to 86 menu items.

For example: We have a Family Deal with 2 pizzas, cheesy bread, and a 2 Liter. Because they get to choose the pizzas and the 2 liter it has to be set up as a combo, with modifiers. The modifiers being which pizza and which 2 Liter. If I run out of pepsi or sprite I have to go to the back office, find the modifiers, and turn off what 2 Liters we are out of from the back office and then sync, hopefully before someone orders it online.

It would be so much faster and convenient to be able to add the modifier count to the 86 List.

It would also come in handy for salads with certain dressings, say you run out of blue cheese or honey mustard.

    Manual SMS Order Ready Alerts

Dan Kratzke 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 1 month ago 0

Plenty of requests asking for this, but all marked as completed because KDS can handle.    This functionality needs to be offered as a manual operation, as well.    Not sure if Toast has this functionality, but Heartland Restaurant sure does, and it's a necessary feature enhancement to keep up with competitors.

Set Price on Modifier defaults to all Sizes

Dan Kratzke 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 1 month ago 0

Currently, if you are setting the price on the modifier with "Set Price," you have to set a price for all sizes that modifier may be used for.     Would be nice to be able to choose ALL SIZES to set the price on.

Allow us to see who is clocked in from the store dashboard

Brad Bryant 5 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 2 months ago 2

This can be under the employees tab on the dashboard. This way accounting will not need to reference other sources. This will save us a lot of time and effort if we are able to see that the reason we are over labor is because a trainee is clocked in rather than being overstaffed. It would also be nice to display their employment status(ie. Trainee, Barista, Manager) so that Accounting can factor that as well.
