Anyone having connectivity issues with the IP version customer display app on iOS? CDS freezes in middle of taking a customer's order. Merchant isn't aware until another customer advises them that their order isn't accurate. Merchant has to force close the CDS app and reopen it for it to reconnect and reflect the correct customer's order. This occurs at all locations using IP CDS version and has occurred several times during a shift. I confirmed that the IP address are reserved. Bluetooth worked pretty good as long as the iPads remained on and didn't enter sleep mode or turn off. Reconnecting Bluetooth always required more steps and even force closing both applications for it to reconnect but don't recall ever losing connection during use. 

If you see the receipt , LASAGNA is a modifier however it is showing like an item. atleast modifier should be indented or items should be numbered show that users do not get confused with this.

Requesting for RETAIL items.

The ability when a retail item is scanned or tapped into the POS ( being rung up on a check), to prompt for a "CHECK ID" box for an alcohol or tobacco product. Basically a modifier prompt for a retail category or a box to pop up to notify the cashier to CHECK the ID of the customer. It would be category specific to alcohol, tobacco/ cigar, etc. This prompt should also pop up on the CUSTOMER DISPLAY side as well. so the customer knows to present their ID card.

For the transactions reports there are multiple toggle options. It would be great that in addition to check number the "name of the customer" can also be displayed for easy access. Since we are having issues with loyalty points recording correctly this will help us track how many of our member customers came up in a transaction period so we can fix the loyalty points manually. 

Tips shared vs Tip Pooling

In true tip sharing the Server A say "I want to give x amount to x Bartender/Runner/Host. The tip is deducuted from Server A and provided to Bartender/Runner/Host

Example:

The standard for most restaurants in Host is 1% Bartender is 1.50% and Runners 4%

Server makes $100 in tips

Host gets $1

Bartender gets $1.50

Runner gets $4

Server left over is $94.50

The way Ligna has this set up is Tip Pooling

Total of Tips for all servers, bartenders, host and runners to share the pot. 

Tip Pooling works great in Panera style QSR locations. Not in Full TSR mode.

The ability to just choose the Time (not date) that an item is going to be available on the POS and OLO.

For example:  Lunch Items should only appear from 8:30am-5:00pm (doesn't matter what day of the week).

We would like to be able to set auto gratuity by item, not just by seat count. So for instance, we may have a beverage item that shouldn’t have auto gratuity, but apply auto gratuity on food items.

Currently, when looking through the report, the cash value only reflects the cash of purchases.  I'd like to request that the refund portion of the report be migrated within the cash portion to make it easier to see the true cash. 

Example:

cash 100

refunds 25

total cash 75

With the patch that auto-closes the error message, barcode scanning errors now do not interrupt scanning.  Before, if I scanned a barcode that was not recognized, the error would prevent all other scans.  Now, if I have 10 items, if the 3rd item doesn't scan, I may not notice that 1 or other items did not get added to the check.
