It would be nice to have a pop up after clicking void under the check options to confirm that the client wants to void the entire check.  I know they will learn the hard way after accidentally deleting a few large checks but it would be nice to have a confirmation.

In restaurants and bars, employees will often work 2 shifts in the same day (working a double). If the employee cashiers out for the morning shift and continues working or if the employee cashiers out, clocks out, then clocks in under a different role, it should separate the reports so they can see what they owe the house for each shift. 

Ex. If an employee works as a bartender and uses the drawer for lunch. They should be able to cashier out, clock out, then clock in as a server for dinner. The server should have a way to separate the reports so they can see what they owe the house for the dinner shift. This should also occur if an employee works server for morning and lunch, cashiers out and comes back later to work the dinner shift. Right now, they have to complete math by subtracting the morning shift from the night shift and that could lead to errors.

100% of the time merchants request that the service type "To Go" or "Take Out" print in red. Same applies to the "Go" button for items. Really need this feature change. 

When someone pre-auths a card and has "prompt tip before credit card screen" turned on. It will not allow them to prompt a tip when closing out the tab. I believe this is due to the credit card screen being bypassed due to the pre-auth. 

When editing a menu item, the pink header says "Menu Item".  I have on multiple occasions questioned whether or not I selected the right item and there's no identifier other than under the Basic Details screen.  It would be really nice having it say something like "Menu Item - Pepperoni Pizza" so you know you're editing the correct item.

Scenario today: First interaction by cashier with customer is asking "Dining in or Take-out"

Requested scenario: Starting to take order and prior to taking payment require a choice of dining in or take-out. This is a common QSR/counter service flow where a cashier would take the order prior to asking if they are dining in or bringing the food with them. 

Currently, if using pre-auth, when going to the payment screen, you can only sign and select a receipt option on screen.  It would make sense to also be able to select a tip.  In our area, bars all want to pre-auth cards but it's not ideal for the bartender to have to ask a customer how much they want to tip in order to hit Submit so they can sign on screen and select a receipt option.  The flow we are trying to use is bartender hits submit on existing pre-authed tab, turns the display around and the customer tips, swipes, signs and emails/prints receipt

Ability to edit a future order without having to cancel it 

We are unable to print, evenly split checks, BEFORE being paid. It is only possible to print when splitting a check manually, and dividing each separate item on the check. This is very very time consuming.

An example of a guest interaction. 4 people say .. "Can you split this check evenly". So we can not do it and print. We can only present the check as it is and pick up 4 credit cards or cash.
If we have them on their own seat it is ok and we can print. The problem again is with an even split. Thats in half, thirds whatever. Our old system from 1932 was able to do this. Please please help
