Gratuity Option Auto Apply
Currently the only option we have for gratuity is based on seat number, It would be very beneficial to alot of bars and clubs to have it based on time frame Date/ day of the week/ start and end time to auto apply
Categories Page view
Categories page is currently limited to only show 10 rows max, why we don't have an drop down option to show more like 20/50/100 instead of keep clicking next page?
Enhancements to Waitlist feature
Customer would like there to be more interaction with Waitlist feature.
First text when added to the Waitlist
"You've been added to the waitlist at Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill! We'll text you when your table is ready. Text "9" at any time to remove yourself from the waitlist."
Second text when the table is ready
"Your table at Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is ready! We'll hold the table for 10 minutes. Please text "1" to confirm or "9" if you are no longer able to make it, and we will remove you from the waitlist. Thank you"
When they text "1" we respond back with "Great, we will see you soon!"
When they text "9" we respond back with "You have now been removed from the waitlist. We'll see you Dockside next time!"
Ability to add group order for To Go and For Here orders
Currently not possible to create a group To Go or For here order. The split button is grayed out, and there's no option to add seats to a To-Go order.
This becomes an issue in scenarios where a group places a phone order, then comes in to pay separately. Since it’s a To-Go order, the merchant has to manually calculate what each person owes, including tax and any surcharges or dual pricing fees. This can be difficult or even unmanageable. The only way to handle it accurately right now would be to re-ring each order individually on separate checks.
The same limitation exists with For-Here orders—there’s no easy way to split those either….unless we are missing something.
Current workaround is to make this a table order
APPLE PAY
Please find another way to make the apple pay work, we are so behind with apple pays, all the devices disconnect by theirself all the time
Assigning a Single Item to Multiple Categories/Sub-Categories
Assigning a Single Item to Multiple Categories/Sub-Categories
We need the ability to assign the same item to multiple categories and sub-categories. For example, the item Red Bean Salad should be listed under Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner without needing to create separate versions of the same item.
We’ve reviewed the current capabilities and understand from the response received that this functionality is not currently supported. The suggested workaround involves duplicating the item with slight name variations (e.g., Red Bean Salad - Breakfast, Red Bean Salad BF, etc.) and assigning each to the respective category. However, this approach is not ideal as it can create unnecessary redundancy and confusion.
This is a specific request from our client, and we’d like to formally submit it as a feature enhancement. The ability to assign a single item to multiple categories/sub-categories would significantly improve usability and efficiency in item management.
Please consider this request for future development.
KDS Errors are Unclear
The wording of KDS errors are not helpful when attempting to diagnose issues. The below image is an example of those errors. Could we get something better?

GRAYING OUT OPTIONS WHEN EMPLOYEE HAS NO ACCESS
As of right now, when employees go in to [OPERATIONS] they can see all the options and it looks like they have access to those options, thankfully the system does not allow them to select anything outside of their permissions.
Sometimes this confuses managers and owners because they go into [OPERATIONS] thinking they have access and after figuring out that they are under the wrong code they are ok.
Can we adjust the buttons so that if the employees has no permission to certain buttons/options under [OPERATIONS] or [POS SETTINGS] to either be grayed out or making the option not show up (<preferable)
Void or refund item after check closed
Currently, the system only allows us to either void the entire check or issue a refund for a specific item once payment has been completed. However, there are situations where it would be more efficient and appropriate to void or refund a single item from a paid check, without having to void the entire check or process a full refund.
Feature Request: Restrict Items by Service Type
Summary:
Allow items on the POS system to be restricted not only by time and day, but also by service type (e.g., Dine-In, Takeout, Delivery).
Use Case:
A merchant has a "Wing Wednesday" special that is already configured to be available only on Wednesdays. However, they want to further restrict the item to specific service types—namely, Dine-In, Table Service, and Bar Tab. The item should not be available for QSR, To-Go or Delivery orders.
Proposed Functionality:
-
Add a configuration option at the item level to enable or disable availability by service type.
-
Allow merchants to select one or more service types where the item is eligible.
-
The system should enforce this restriction at the time of order creation, ensuring the item cannot be added if the current order’s service type is not allowed.
Benefits:
-
Greater control over promotional item availability.
-
Prevents misuse or accidental application of specials to unintended order types.
-
Supports complex pricing or availability strategies based on business operations.
Example Scenario:
-
Item: Wing Wednesday Special
-
Availability: Wednesdays only
-
Allowed Service Types: For Here, Table Service, Bar Tab
-
Result: The item will not appear or be allowed on Takeout or Delivery orders, even on Wednesdays.
