Transaction Report Sorting Employee Filter

Gerardo L 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 2 months ago 1

The Transaction Report does not have employee sorting. Another thread was created and closed stating that it can be done in Sale Summary, but unfortunately Tips and Gratuity are not part of that report. Please add sorting by employee in Transaction Report or add the column for Tips and Gratuity to Sale Summary Report.

Change the default tip amount to 10%

Vineyard Grocer 1 year ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 1 month ago 0

Hey there,

One feature that we need is a way to change the default tip to 10%. For example, when the customer comes to pay for their order and the tip screen pops up, it shows the total amount of the order plus the tip, which is currently set to 0. We would like to set it to default to 10%, and the customer can choose whether to leave that amount or not. We need this because our tip amount has decreased by more than 60% since we changed the POS system. In our previous system, we could set 10% as the default for all our customers, and most of them would tip accordingly. However, now that we don't have this feature, we barely receive any tips.

If you could please take a look at this matter since we really need it, and it's a basic feature that most systems have, we would be really glad!

MULTIPLE MENU ITEM PRICES w/ APPLICABLE TIME PERIODS

Manny Jimenez 1 year ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 1 month ago 0

Insert the ability to add an “Applicable Time Period” index the Serving Size.  Or have an option under the Time Period to set a price by time.

This will eliminate the need to have duplicate Menu Items since the system will not allow to have Multiple Items with the same name.  This will also help with reporting.

This will be ideal with people with Multiple Level Menus that share Menu Items throughout the day (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. This will also make programming so much smoother

Ie.  Meatball Hero

Serving Size

-Lunch - $8.00

[Applicable Time Period]  Everyday / 10:00am to 4:00pm

-Dinner - $10.00

[Applicable Time Period] Everyday / 4:01pm to 11:00pm

KITCHEN PRINTER REROUTE BY FLOOR PLAN

Manny Jimenez 1 year ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 1 month ago 1

This is a concept found in other POS System Legacy and Cloud alike.  This feature would allow clients to reroute orders to certain printers from specific locations (not nodes)

Reroute by node is great for stationary Terminals n but not so much for Mobile Terminals.  Servers are not going to grab the correct Mobile Device and Managers/Owners don’t want to have one more thing to police

IE. - Site has 3 Bars and would like to re-route the [Deck Dining Area] bar orders from the [Main Bar Prep Printer] to the [Deck Bar Prep Printer] from any handheld used.  This will allow servers to pick up any handheld and start placing orders.  ESPECIALLY if they need to swap out handhelds for one with a fresh battery.

MODIFYING MODIFIERS

Manny Jimenez 1 year ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 1 month ago 0

This is a feature I’ve been asking for since 2017.

We need the ability to ADD a Modifier Group directly to a Modifier very much like we do a MANDATORY MODIFIER to an Item.

This can allow us to make a modifier called [STEAK] and add a modifier group called “Temps” [rare, med rare, med, med well, well done] directly to the modifier called [STEAK].  Also have the ability to force a selection with a MINIMUM 1 / MAXIMUM 1

Technically we just need the Minimum and Maximum Option in the [Modify With] option.

The “Pre-Fix” leaves to much to Server Error when they don’t select it and if they redo the Modifier to select the prefix it puts it out of order.

This also works for the [ADD EGG] modifier and a forced group for the [EGG STYLES] with a minimum and maximum

Display Groups: Add "available time" option just like it is available in categories, subcategories and items.

andy 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 2 hours ago 1

Description:

The condition is: A display group needs to show up on the screen ONLY at one specific time or multiple times in the day.

Currently, the Display Group can be set up to show up on a day of the week and then be restricted to show up only in one time period.

This option does not work if I have a happy hour menu that I need to show up only every Tuesday from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM and then from 07:00 PM to 09:00 PM.

We have many restaurant customers where we use a different software solution. The need for a unique scheduled menu is prevalent with our customers (Brunch menu, Special occasions menu, holiday menus, happy hour menus, etc.).

Add Table Number on Transaction Report

Ryan Nicley 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 1 month ago 0

Customer is request to have the table number/name on the transaction report. At the moment, to see it, you have to preview the PDF of the receipt (for CC transactions) and email the receipt to yourself for cash transactions.

It would be nice to add the column to the report and it could even be toggled on and off like the other fields on the report.
