KITCHEN PRINTER REROUTE BY FLOOR PLAN

Manny Jimenez 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 11 months ago 1

This is a concept found in other POS System Legacy and Cloud alike.  This feature would allow clients to reroute orders to certain printers from specific locations (not nodes)

Reroute by node is great for stationary Terminals n but not so much for Mobile Terminals.  Servers are not going to grab the correct Mobile Device and Managers/Owners don’t want to have one more thing to police

IE. - Site has 3 Bars and would like to re-route the [Deck Dining Area] bar orders from the [Main Bar Prep Printer] to the [Deck Bar Prep Printer] from any handheld used.  This will allow servers to pick up any handheld and start placing orders.  ESPECIALLY if they need to swap out handhelds for one with a fresh battery.

MODIFYING MODIFIERS

Manny Jimenez 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 11 months ago 0

This is a feature I’ve been asking for since 2017.

We need the ability to ADD a Modifier Group directly to a Modifier very much like we do a MANDATORY MODIFIER to an Item.

This can allow us to make a modifier called [STEAK] and add a modifier group called “Temps” [rare, med rare, med, med well, well done] directly to the modifier called [STEAK].  Also have the ability to force a selection with a MINIMUM 1 / MAXIMUM 1

Technically we just need the Minimum and Maximum Option in the [Modify With] option.

The “Pre-Fix” leaves to much to Server Error when they don’t select it and if they redo the Modifier to select the prefix it puts it out of order.

This also works for the [ADD EGG] modifier and a forced group for the [EGG STYLES] with a minimum and maximum

profit report for all menu items

John Blignaut 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 11 months ago 0

We need the profit for each menu item in a report format

Item selling price

Cost from the recipe

Difference is profit

Profit % is profit / cost x 100

Purchase Order Template - new template

steve 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE / INVENTORY updated by Product Engineering 11 months ago 0

Like the KOT ticket function we need the ability to change the PO format

we can't use the current template as prices change nearly daily from our cash and carry supplier... therefore we only send Quantity, SKU code & Product Description. There is no point in sending the system price as its most likely changed since last order

maybe an option switch to Include Price Yes/No?

Past Effective Date

Danny E 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 11 months ago 0

If you edit a User in the back office and try to set them up with a Wage, it doesn't let you set a date in the past for the 'Effective Date' that their pay rate is starting from.

Especially if there is no previous Wage set up, it should allow you to put a date in the past that would then be reflected in the reports.

Display Groups: Add "available time" option just like it is available in categories, subcategories and items.

andy 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 10 months ago 1

Description:

The condition is: A display group needs to show up on the screen ONLY at one specific time or multiple times in the day.

Currently, the Display Group can be set up to show up on a day of the week and then be restricted to show up only in one time period.

This option does not work if I have a happy hour menu that I need to show up only every Tuesday from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM and then from 07:00 PM to 09:00 PM.

We have many restaurant customers where we use a different software solution. The need for a unique scheduled menu is prevalent with our customers (Brunch menu, Special occasions menu, holiday menus, happy hour menus, etc.).

Enterprise Menu Control

Jackson Spaugh 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 11 months ago 0

We are able to copy items to another store from the menu configuration tool, but we are not able to change the same items across multiple stores, remove/deactivate the same item from across multiple stores, or mass add a new item to multiple stores. We have central inventory control, will we have central menu control?

LOG REPORT

Alex Mendez MStar 2 years ago in BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 11 months ago 0

Many of our previous POS software solutions provided a feature that allowed us to access logs that we can run broken down by individual terminal. These logs were invaluable for identifying any issues related to check, such as printing errors or problems associated with EMV transactions, logs that show clock in and out compared to a report in the BO, any and anything that is related to the function of the software.. However, our current system lacks this essential functionality, which hinders our ability to troubleshoot accounts effectively. As a 24/7 support dealer, we rely on Linga support to retrieve this critical information. We urgently require access to these check reports.

Add Table Number on Transaction Report

Ryan Nicley 3 years ago in BACKOFFICE / RESTAURANT BACKOFFICE updated by Product Engineering 11 months ago 0

Customer is request to have the table number/name on the transaction report. At the moment, to see it, you have to preview the PDF of the receipt (for CC transactions) and email the receipt to yourself for cash transactions.

It would be nice to add the column to the report and it could even be toggled on and off like the other fields on the report.

Auto Highlight on Tab

Jason G 3 years ago in BACKOFFICE updated by Hardy Singh 11 months ago 2

When customers are doing data entry or bulk price changing, using tab to jump between fields does not automatically highlight the existing text in the field.  If someone is going to be updating pricing in bulk or simply making changes to existing items, you need to use your mouse to highlight the text that is already in the space which either requires several extra keystrokes or using the mouse to highlight the text before pressing delete, then entering the new data.

If the fields auto-highlighted the current text, it would make menu changes MUCH more efficient.
