House Account balance report

I'd like to be able to export/print out a report that simply has all of our House Account names and their account balance.  My old Benseron point of sale had this report, my new Linga does not.

Discount Up To An Amount

Requesting that discounts have the ability to discount UP to an amount without the current limitation that the check total must exceed the discount amount.

Example - If I set a discount of $10, the check or item total must be greater than this.  It does not allow to discount a lesser priced item or check.  

Usage - Employee discount up to $10.  Employee has a total of $8.50 but you cannot discount this until the total exceeds $10.00.  

This type of discounts are very common.

Expected credit card deposit for Non-Cash Adjustment (Cash Discount) on Sale Recap Report

I have a lot of customers asking for this, that are doing Non-Cash Adjustment ("Cash Discount" in Linga's view).  They would like the back-office report Sales Recap to add another reporting line called " Expected Credit Deposit".  You would need to add an additional setting under Report Settings for Discount Rate, which will be a percentage.  This would need to be placed on a toggle if you would want this on or off.  Now the Discount rate would be a percentage, which should be less than the Cash Discount rate that you input for the NON-Cash Adjustment.  The formula would then be as follows.

((Credit Card Amount + Credit Card Tip + Service Charge) - Discount Rate) - Credit Card Refund = Expected Credit Card Deposit

Batch report summary report

Merchants would like the ability to run a batch report summary. The report summary would only show the total batch amount for a specific date or range of dates. Currently users have to scroll all the way to the bottom of each batch report to get the total that we were looking for. Here is how we would like this to be formatted.

Example: 

Date                   Net Amount           Tip Amount                 Total

08-Aug-2020      $10,525.53            $1,793.95                   $12,319.48

Add an option to exclude certain modifiers in modifier groups.

Can we add a column to allow us to exclude or hide some modifier options from certain groups. This way we can reduce clutter by not having a lot of options that cannot be done. The only other way around this as of now is to create extra modifier groups. But this is not ideal since many of our items are unique and cannot be modified in the same ways.

Employee setting email address

Once an email address has been assigned, it may not be deleted. It's assigned as "inactive" and therefore unavailable. The entire "Active" and "Inactive" states are exceptionally frustrating. Admins should have the ability, while viewing "Inactive" entries, to permanently delete those entries, if they wish.

SPREADSHEET INACTIVATE COLUMN

So when you pull a spreadsheet it would be nice to have a column labeled inactive. Then if we put say "yes" in a cell  in that column it will move that item to inactive. Also, a way to pull an inactive list with the same column to bring it back. Right now my customer gave me over 150+ items to remove so I'm having to go one by one to remove. Whereas a spreadsheet would be so much easier.

Show the names added to check under "Active Check" section on the dashboard

When a bartender opens a tab they often name the tab or let the pre-auth pull the name. I have received multiple requests from owners to see the name on the active check under dashboard so they can actively monitor drinks and items sold throughout the day. Having the name will help them keep track of sales placed, especially when ringing up regulars.

Better Programing Flow in back office

Link Modifiers to Modifier Group to Product/item (BOTH WAYS).

So when you click on a Modifier you see every Modifier Group you have put it into. From the Modifier, you can click on the Modifier group and go straight to that Modifier group. Also from the Modifier, you can add it straight into more Modifier groups. Once you are in the Modifier Group you can also click on the Modifier and go back to it. When you are in the Modifier Group you can see all the Products/Items it is attached to click on it and go to that Products/item. Also from there add the Modifier group to other products/items from the modifier Group screen.


Ability to create new Modifiers and Modifier Groups via copy 

Just like the Products/item area pull up an old Modifier, make a copy of it, rename it and save it. Same with the modifier groups copy the group make the changes that you need and rename it. Plus if you put the first idea in you can link it straight to the Products/Item you want it to go to after you save the new Modifier group.

Ability to make prices of Modifiers different in Modifer Group 

Right now if you set price in Modifier group it can only be one price for every item. Yes you can go to the idividual Products/Item and change the price but if you use this in multiple Product/Items you have to go to each one to make the change. Would be better to prices it in the Modifier Group and still have the ability to over prices in the idividual Products/item if you want to.
