This is a huge issue. We just realized this was an issue and I am at a Go Live with a new customer. This worked fine on the iOS version. Please fix this as soon as possible. The customer is very unhappy and it our first night. We also can't use the split by seat in many scenarios because if one seat pays out their check, the system limits you from doing voids and other functions to the remaining checks since there is a payment on the check. That's been an issue for years.

Please fix this or at least let me know if it cannot be fixed. 

Any updates on this feature? I see there are a few different feature requests posted about this same issue. It does seem like it would be a simple feature to add and it could really save a lot of headaches for merchants.

Bumping this to see if this is possible. It's been an issue for a while and we have had multiple customers accidentally submit batches during business and before tips are fully entered. I know we can limit who can submit the batch by role, but even when it's manager only, it gets submitted but accident. The natural tendency is to press that button after adjusting tips and if you do, it batches without warning. I have to believe this would be a simple confirmation box that could prompt the user, "are you sure?". Kind of like it prompts when you Close The Day.

Any thoughts on this. I have received similar requests. I get what the 86 list currently is trying to do, but in some cases, the staff need a quick and simple way to 86 a menu item (and modifier) from the FOH and not have a count down quantity. For example, it would be great to be able to "long-press" on a menu item and have an option to 86 the item which would simply make it unavailable. Then I could "long-press" on the menu item again and make it available again. This doesn't solve everything but seems it could be a simple to start. Of course, 86ing the item also 86s it from OLO.

is there a way to at least add address verification to help with this?

Yes, I think have post d this before as well. We need to be able to copy and paste or enter a custom code.

Have you tried program the availability of the category or items by time of day in Linga?

Pinging this again. This is becoming a big issue with places that want to do pre-auth tabs and it's making us not want to recommend Linga in those situations. To a merchant, it makes no sense. We have created a discount/comp as a workaround, but it would be great to get a solution for this. 

Yes, we have had similar request and it would be a good option to have.

Checking on this again. We are running into this frequently. Recently, we installed Linga at a bar and they do pre-auth bar tabs. If they pre-auth the Bar Tab, they're not able to void an item from the check without removing the pre-auth payment.
