Any further advancement on Auto batching for the S300.  Merchant inquired again.  They have 12 S300 and if they switch to the eDynamo it would increase their monthly costs by about $120 or almost an additional $1,500 annually simply to obtain auto batch in addition to the almost $2,000 additional hardware costs.  Please advise.

I too get asked about it weekly!  

But the ability to add the NOTE to a discount allows the cashier to add info like "who approved the use of the discount or for whom the discount was used for.  Example, if Owner advises the Cashier to provide a 50% Discount for Family, they can add the Family persons name and/or who authorized the use of the discount.

Merchant requests have been to be able to add "Discount Notes" to current predefined discounts not simply an "Open Discount".  If a merchant has an Employee Discount of 25% off the check, they want to be able to add a note for an example adding the 'Employees Name" so that employees do not randomly provide employee 25% discount to just anyone. 

Another example would be if the Manger provides a 100% Meal Discount, the cashier can add a note say "Approved by Manager Bob for his wife's meal"  or an Electrical Vendors meal.  So they can look back 2 months later and know WHY and WHO the discount was given too and approved by.

Customer has requested this again and again as they process more than 30,000 transactions monthly and need to put the receipt functionality into the hands of the customer and take them away from the cashier.  Especially since Covid merchants want to put as much entry onto the customer and away from the cashier.
