adding a confirmation button will help with submitting batches prior to tips being added. I accidentally left the screen open and an employee accidentally pressed ‘submit batch’ and no tips were entered. Usually the servers enter the tips at the end of the shift. How hard is it to add this confirmation button?????

yes the button can be moved, but the requirement of the same pin to log in used to log out is a bad idea. Many servers accidentally leave their ‘screen’ open and logged in. Many servers share the same iPad. I can’t imagine running around the restaurant to find a server to log out when another server needs to use it. 

a problem also exists that if a customer pays  part of a check with a gift card the suggested tip changes (lowers) based on that gift card payment. The suggested tip should remain the same when gift cards are involved. Customers frequently  forget a gift card was used and the server doesn’t get tipped on that amount

it amazes me how many years ago this request was imitated and Linga has still not done anything about it. The company that sold me Linga no longer recommends it as a point of sale system. Very sad that we have invested so much time, and money, in this system and there are still multiple ‘issues’.

I have also requested this in the past. It would be great if this can be added as a feature

there is a way to do this. Under user management, roles, POS operations, check off ‘open cash drawer’. Hope this helps

I did notice that with the 5.0 update that this is possible. If you are on the sign on screen and you enter an admin or manager code then click on active employees it is possible to edit the punch in times while employee is still clocked in. It is also possible to clock employees out this way when the employee forgets to clock out

yes I agree. I have to go to some convoluted process by highlighting the pin then doing a web inspect and deleting code. That is crazy! It shouldn’t be that difficult!
