Pre-Auth Correct Amount

When using the pre-auth function under system options, it does not auto populate the current total on the check.  This means that if the bartender pre-auths a tab after ringing in items, they must manually input a pre-auth amount which takes a lot of time.  If they don't edit the total, it causes an error.  Can this pre-auth option be adjusted to reflect the current total on the tab at the point that the button is pressed?

This would be a great option. It would be nice to be able to enable or disable this feature in back office as not all would want it, it would be great to have. I have instructed merchants to edit the total themselves, but it slows this down and leaves room for error.
