We have missed a few sales based on this.  Taphouses and certain atmospheres want the sign on screen ability but they also want to pre-auth to prevent losses due to walk-out customers.  Currently if they pre-auth and they want to do customer sign on screen and pay, the customer can not tip.  A checkbox for bypass tip would be wonderful for this, especially when using a CDS.

It would be nice to have a selection option in the back office to allow pre-auths for other service types.

Another option would simply be to allow the pre-auth to move to the table layout from the bar tab screen if it is already pre-authed.  

@hardy This says completed but I am still seeing the checks named as Bar Tab, is this a setting that needs to be changed?

I meant to say you need to use your mouse to highlight the text or arrow to the right, then use backspace or press delete several times.
